Teaching Roles

For all teaching roles you must be a fluent/native English speaker and ideally be a qualified and experienced teacher with 2 to 3 years experience.


Whilst we are always looking for teachers to match the roles below we are urgently looking for Primary teachers and Music teachers (either primary and/or secondary).

Primary

Teachers with experience of the English National curriculum and the Cambridge primary curriculum will have a distinct advantage.
    • EYFS
    • Key Stage 1
    • Key Stage 2
    Primary teachers are class (homeroom) teachers - they teach all subjects to their class except Kurdish and Arabic

    All teachers will be expected to participate in school clubs either at break/lunch times or after school.

    We are also looking for experienced Kurdish and Arabic Primary teachers.


    Secondary

    Teachers with experience of the English National Curriculum and the Cambridge IGSCE curriculum will have a distinct advantage.

    We are mainly looking for teachers in the following subject areas:
    • Business Studies/Enterprise/Accounting
    • Physics
    • Music
    • Art
    • Drama
    However we are always looking for highly qualified teachers in the following areas:
    • Mathematics
    • English
    • General Science
    • Computing/ICT
    • Arabic
    • Humanities (Geography, History, PSHE/C and R.E)
    • P.E.
    We are looking for teachers who have the ability to teach more than one subject e.g. Maths and ICT or ICT and Music or indeed any combination of subjects.


    For all teaching posts

    Candidates with the right qualifications and experience will be considered for Head of Department roles, Head of Year or other middle management roles.

    All teachers will be expected to participate in school clubs either at break/lunch times or after school.


    You will be expected to teach for approximately 80% of the available teaching time (i.e. 24 or 25 lessons out of 30).

    We will provide:

    • Furnished accommodation (this may be shared with other teachers from the school)
    • A tax free salary based on experience
    • 2 year contract which can be extended
    • Medical cover
    • Flights from and to your home country at the start and end of your contract
    • Flights to and from your home country over the summer.

    All teachers will be expected to participate in school clubs either at break/lunch times or after school.
