Visit by the British Consul and the Minister of Education
Today we were very proud to have both Hugh Evans (the British Consul in Erbil) and Dr Asmat (the Minister of Education) visit our school. They had a chance to meet and talk with the students and staff and to see how far we have come in only 3 years.
The KRG Ministry of Education also has an article on their website.
Our next school holiday is Newroz from the 21st March until 29th March.
Our new location
We are operating under license 1240 dated 22/1/2012 for Hawler.
Reception through Year 9 follows the National Curriculum of England, with suitable adaptations to take into account our location in Iraqi Kurdistan. Students in Year 10 and 11 have a wide range of GCSE options to choose from and Years 12 and 13 will prepare for international AS and A level examinations.
We hope that almost all students will successfully apply to the college/university of their choice on graduating from a British International Schools In Kurdistan.
We employ only 100% native english speaking teachers from the United Kingdom, United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa or elsewhere.
Thank you for visiting our website and I very much look forward to welcoming you to our school.
